A unique and dynamic experience
Samba drumming is a perfect form of Team Building and Team Bonding. You will be amazed at how easily a samba groove can be achieved. Even if you have never drummed before or feel you have no sense of rhythm you will pick up the groove very quickly.
During the session delegates will learn to improve their listening and communication skills through working in large and small groups. There is no hierarchy within a samba band. All sections must work together to achieve the groove.
Playing in a samba band gives colleagues a chance to work with each other in a different capacity within a safe environment. It also allows individuals to remove self limiting boundaries.
When the groove works members experience a sense of joy and achievement. Everyone has worked as a team to achieve the fantastic final performance!
What we can offer
Taster Sessions: 1—2 hour Introduction to the joy of samba drumming
Full Day: Up to 6 hours. Incorporating, ice breakers, movement and achievement of a complete samba groove.
Two Day Sessions; These can be residential or non-residential events. We can incorporate a number of different sessions as well as drumming, such as, carnival dance and costume making. All the sessions will focus towards a final performance, which can be videoed!
Your company will have it’s own Samba Band!
Bespoke Workshops
We can tailor our sessions to suit the needs of your
organisation. We can travel to a venue of your choice at a time to suit you. We can cater for up to 100 people. We provide all equipment and material required. All you need to do is tell us where and when!
We also offer the opportunity for your delegates to visit the Isle of Wight for a full day or a residential weekend, where we can stage your event in a unique coastal location.
